Bridget Lynch

Bridget Lynch is the grass and forage science lecturer and research scientist in the UCD School of Agriculture Food Science and Veterinary Medicine. Her research programme examines a wide range of relevant topics in the grass and forage science area which includes: the biological and genetic control of fatty acid levels in perennial ryegrass; nutritional strategies to reduce nitrogen excretion, ammonia and nitrous oxide emissions following the application of slurry on grassland; nitrification inhibitors; the use of recovered food nutrients (Biomers) from food by-products to boost soil organic matter; nutritive value of ground ear maize.
